Anybody who can offer a bit of help this Saturday, the 31st January, would be much appreciated. We need to set the winter league course and maybe improve the parking. If time permits, perhaps we could clear the wooden shack of debris and have a manly bonfire.
We can use the ground from 1.30pm on.

Re: Saturday 31st Jan Work Party
Could we not get there a bit earlier if we are starting on the poo shed?
By the way, Ive just nicked some lengths of old 2x1 from work that can be used to make cubicle framework and some other wood odds and sods for patching up holes etc. I presume it was being chucked, thought Id grab it first and ask later.

Parking may be an issue as Robert asks his shotgun pupils to park as close to the lane entrance as possible due to clays falling on the cars. In the past Robert had made it known he didn't like otherwise distractions.

2 x 1 is a bit flimsy for stud work. We will need to get some 3 x 2. I reckon 35m should do 2 cubicles.

How much have you got? Could always screw strips together and make 4x2s.
I assume we're gonna have to get two doors. Have we got any members who are chippys? I can do hammer n nail carpentry
OR
I could stick to mouse proofing, course setting and dancing around the bonfire we're having, looking slightly demented (like my new club site photo)

Re: Saturday 31st Jan Work Party
I'll bring it up in Saturday. Hopefully I can get more as long as it isn't binned.
John Lloyd is handy with a hammer and saw apparently.
Now off to find your picture.

I think we should wait until we have the loos sorted before we put too much time and effort into the shed.

Plus.......we have a 40 target course to set out and a car park to extend and it's looking like party numbers are limited. Shouldn't the shit shed be a special work party project maybe?

I wasn't suggesting we finish it this Saturday only clear it out if time permits.
