It is with great sadness, that I have to announce that our friend and long time member Victor Ashdown passed away suddenly last week.
His daughter came to the club to let us know today and Gerry has given details to her so club members who may wish to attend his funeral can be informed of the date.
Vic will be missed by us all and our thoughts are with his family through this time.

Very sad news. He was a great character and will be missed by us all.
Will we be sending a condolence card as a token of your respect?

Was a shock when his daughter told us.
Hopefully a card can be sent.
As soon as I hear anything, I'll post it up here, and both Shirl & myself will try and get to the service.

Vic was laid to rest earlier today. The club was represented by 4 members, we were thanked for attending by both his daughter and his son.
At some point in the near future, somebody will be contacting us regarding Vics shooting kit, to find out value etc. and to possibly sell it on their behalf.
