JSB Pellets
Todd and I have found a supplier of JSB pellets, 8.4 grains at very reasonable rates. Todd put them through his EV2 and recorded velocities of between 1.2 and 2 feet per second. Dan Eley even says he has miked and weighed a whole tin of JSB's and confirmed their consistency. He now uses them straight out of the tin. It would seem that anything with Air Arms name on it (except TX200's of course!) are a bit suspect. However, I got fed up with picking out bent Air Arms pellets at ETL Sunday and just shoved them in, didn't seem to make any difference, perhaps it's all in the mind. Comments please on whether we order JSB's instead of Air Arms.

Re: JSB Pellets
I have a tin of 4.52 and a 4.53 if people want to put a few through and see.
I found they fly the same as the AA's, with just less damaged ones.
I for one am sick of the amount of rejects of late in the AA tins.

Shall the club order a batch of 100 tins JSB's instead of the Air Arms. We are running low anyway.

Shall we get some testing done first to see how people get on with them. 100 tins is a big order

Re: JSB Pellets
We've been running on JSB Exacts (red) 4.52 for ages, only got about half a sleeve left from the last lot, I get them for about £78 posted for 10 tins.
thinking that we may give the JSB Express (blue) a try at some point, slightly lighter at 7.8 grains (roughly the same as Falcon Acc +), but also more expensive at £8.95 a tin!

Re: JSB Pellets
The club has decided to buy a 100 tins of 4.52 JSB Exact which gets the price down a bit. We can still sell them on to members at a considerable saving, keeping them at the same price of Air Arms which is £7 a tin.

I understand, from Todd, that the factory have been on a shut-down recently. Typical, when we want them urgently!
