Firing line issues

Postby John l » 16 Apr 2017, 23:24

It is a concern that the short target on the top part of the course is unsafe, I believe either the 4th or 5th lane from the end. It is to dangerous to use and with this in mind we have removed the post. I will let the other course setters know that this lane needs to shoot towards the right of the gate to avoid any potential ricochet.
The above is due to a near miss that I witnessed today.

Thanks
John

Good move John. When I got onto the lane after that I was worried about ricochet from it. Especially with it being a micro.

Post could go the other side of the lane? Into the rough bit there possibly & cut it back a bit, just thinking.

If I remember rightly, not many brackets/trees at short range in that area, so would be down to posts ;) if wanting to have a mix in that section
